Dr. Sekhon is not just a dentist, she is a catalyst for transforming lives. From the very beginning, dentistry was more than a career choice for her; it was a calling to make a profound impact on people’s lives. Her unwavering commitment to spreading happiness led her to discover the true power of a smile. With every patient she encounters, she strives to create a lasting difference that goes beyond the boundaries of traditional dental care.
Her journey began at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she earned her Doctorate of Dentistry (DDS) in 2014. Through relentless dedication and an unyielding spirit, Dr. Sekhon delved into the world of dentistry with a strong desire to be an integral part of her patient’s oral health and well-being. To further broaden her horizons and gain a deeper understanding of providing quality care, she pursued a master’s (MBA) degree in healthcare administration. Driven by her insatiable thirst for knowledge, she is always trying to be better version of herself everyday. She is currently pursuing her Fellowship with Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Only 6% of dentists in US and Canada are AGD Fellows. She is honored to serve Dental Board of California (DBC) as a subject matter expert.
Dr. Sekhon is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), California Dental Association (CDA) and San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS).
Prior to founding Sekhon Dental in Agoura Hills, Dr. Sekhon humbly served as an associate in renowned practices across the Los Angeles area, including West LA and Santa Clarita. Immersed in these experiences, she absorbed invaluable lessons from the seasoned practitioners who had dedicated their lives to serving the community. Armed with these pearls of wisdom, she ventured forth to establish her own practice in 2018, determined to create a dental home for her patient where expectations were not just met, but exceeded.
For Dr. Sekhon, dentistry is a lifelong mission, fueled by an unwavering desire to make a meaningful impact. She believes that her patients deserve nothing short of the best care imaginable. Thus, she approaches her craft with unwavering dedication, ensuring that each patient leaves her practice with not only a healthy smile but also a renewed sense of confidence and satisfaction. Education is at the core of her philosophy, as she empowers her patients by meticulously explaining every step of their treatment journey, arming them with knowledge about their own oral health.
Beyond her passion for dentistry, Dr. Sekhon finds solace and joy in the presence of her family. When she’s not helping patients regain their smiles, she cherishes moments with her loving husband and two beautiful children. Dr. Sekhon enjoys being in nature and loves hiking over weekends. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and soap-making. Her pursuit of excellence permeates every facet of her life, resonating in the exceptional care she provides at Sekhon Dental in Agoura Hills.
