Enjoy treats mindfully. Holiday cookies, candy canes, and festive desserts are part of what makes this season magical. Indulge and enjoy, but try to consume sweets with meals rather than grazing throughout the day. This limits the time your teeth are exposed to sugar.
Stay hydrated. With all the celebrations, coffee, and holiday beverages, water often gets forgotten. Drinking water throughout the day helps rinse away food particles and keeps your mouth healthy.
Don’t skip your routine. Between travel, parties, and late nights, dental care routines can slip. Try to brush twice daily and floss at least once, even when your schedule is hectic.
Travel with care essentials. Pack a travel toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste wherever you go. Your teeth deserve care even when you’re away from home.
Protect your teeth. Be careful with hard candies, nutshells, and ice. The emergency room isn’t where you want to spend your holidays!
